Construction began on the new AHAN Thailand Huaye Park Learning Center in Huaye Park, Thailand in the beginning of June. The project will consist of a church and learning center facility for the Karen community living there.
This new AHAN project is well supported by the local Huaye Park community of Karen people and with their abundant enthusiasm; construction is progressing at a record pace! The framework of the structure was built in only ten day and without the use of any heavy equipment! The strong faith of this Karen community is moving this project forward with a spirit of great happiness.
Homma Kancho plans to return this July for his third visit to help with the construction. Plans are on track for the Huaye Park Dream of Stars Community Church to be completed, and the opening ceremony held by Christmas.
