Emily Busch, Nippon Kan Vice President and AHAN International Program Director journeyed to Ta Ko Lang, Thailand in June to visit the AHAN Bilay House Orphanage. The purpose of this visit was to research the purchase of adjoining property for the building of a Karen tribe traditional heritage center.
On this trip, Emily Sensei brought 30 uniforms for the Bilay House children’s choir. These uniforms were provided through a spring fundraising seminar instructed by Homma Kancho at Nippon Kan General Headquarters in Denver. Emily taught the children English through games and everyone had a great time! Thank you!
Emily Sensei also visited the Huay Phak Community Church built by Homma Kancho and AHAN and went to a nearby United Nations Refugee Camp.
